Team 230 on a roll!

Team 230 continues to have a sucessful season. They were the
Northeast Utilities FIRST Connecticut Regional finalist along with fellow UTC Team 1501 THRUST out of Huntington Indiana and Team 61 the Shifters out of Upton MA. In the hard fought elimanation matches they were finally brought doen by another outstanding UTC Team 1124 the Uberbots of Avon Connecticut, Team 383 the Brazilian Maching of
Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, and Team 102 the Gearheads of Somerville, NJ. In addition Team 230 was awarded the Excellence in Design Award sponsored by Autodesk thanks mostly to Michael Rak and mentor Steve Kline for their hard work on this year's animation and the Quality Award sponsored by Motorola for an excellan tand robust robot hat the team fielded for this year's competition. Special congratulations go out to Emily Spoldi for for becoming a FIRST Dean's List Finalist. Her leadership and commitment to the ideals of FIRST has earned her a chance to compete with the top nominees from all 44 2010 Regional events to become the first FIRST Student Superstar.
