BattleCry Success!

The Gaelhawks did an outstanding job at the BattleCry 11 at Worchester Polytechnic Institute, one of the premier FIRST Robotics off-season events, on May 7-8 2010 seeding 4th and fighting their way into the semi-finals. Competition was fierce and good old New England defensive play was in full force. If it weren't for a mechanical failure of their kicker they may have taken home the prize repeating their success as the winners of the first WPI Regional. Alas a quick fix wasn't sufficient and their less effective kicker wasn't good enough to overpower the opposing alliance. Our partners from that Regional win, the Rocketeers FRC20 and GUS FRC228 also teamed up to see if that magic still remained in Harrington Auditorium and it carried them into the quarter-finals. Congratulations go out to Airstrike FRC78, Trinity FRC40, and Plan B FRC1729 for their win.
